A year ago this month
It was just a year ago this month that I went to New Orleans and spent the weekend there helping the prople there cleanup. We slept in tents and one of the guys brought his grill. The destruction was unbelievable. This photo was taken in LaFette, La of the town center which had just opened backup to the public(residents and workers). The buildings and trees had a six high salt water mark on everything. The residents were oh so grateful.
Trees were down in nearly every yard except the yards without any trees. This was one perticular neighborhood where most of the fenses survided. This yard had limbs from the neighbor and a large tree directly behind the house that was laying on the roof. Everett Bluth and Robert Chatwin are waiting to haul the cut up pieces out to the front of the house.

Your willingness to help others is one of your most endearing qualities. I'm glad you went to Louisiana. I'm glad I married such a thoughtful and caring man. :)
